This is me. I'm laid back and easy like Sunday
morning. I'm soft-spoken and relaxed with a just a bit
of sarcasm mixed in for fun. I'm finally beginning to
outgrow that pesky awkward phase that lasted 20 years.
I was born and raised in Southern California but for reasons
unknown I have a special place in my heart for Southern life.
I even say "y'all" every now and then when I think no one is
paying attention. I could survive just fine on a diet consisting soley
of In N Out, Mexican food and sweet tea. No really, I could.
If that's not enough random facts about moi for you, this is the part where I tell you how I've had a passion for photography my whole life and I've always been the one taking photos of everyone and it's in my blood to be a photographer. Which is all true by the way. But the real "story" begins when my son was about 2 years old. I had taken him to one of those mall studios. Uh-huh, you know the one, you've done it too. I bring him in all dressed up and guess what, my toddler decides he doesn't want his picture taken during the 15 minute time slot that we're given. Sound familiar? Then I get to carry him around the mall for an hour while I wait to see my uncooperative toddler's pics. And while I'm carrying him around, he has a blow-out. If you're a parent, you know what this is and you know it's bad. Fantastic. Long story even longer, after walking around the mall for over an hour with number 2 all over me, I get home with a few awful pics of my kid and decide I can do better. That is my moment. The day I became a photographer.
